“ My friends and I had an amazing time at Gojima!!! The service was on point and the food was so fresh and tasty! We got a love boat and a Weston roll to share between 3 people and it was the perfect amount of food. The server was so kind and attentive. We also got to try a variety of small dishes on the house and everything was incredible. Will definitely return whenever we are in the area. Thank you Gojima! ”
“ Cozy lil spot in Etobicoke. Definitely try out the bimbimbap- easy to pick up and heat up when you get home. The salmon was also suuuuper fresh. I really enjoyed my meal. I even got complementary oranges. ”
“ I came here for lunch yesterday (2024-10-28) for lunch. My wife usually is not into old school area, but she and I was starving, so we pick Gojima at the end of Toronto / Mississauga area. We ordered Katsu Don and the Salmon Bento box, their lunch combo. Miso soup is just right taste (other than normal salty soup) the miso is actually not salty and good. The Katsu Don I had taste great. My wife although suspects that the Pork cutlet was fried the 2 nd time, I have no problem because it gave me the crunchiness. The combo comes with a mash potato (nostalgic combination), salad, 2 spring rolls and 2 rolled-up rice. The Salmon bento was similar. My wife had teriyaki Salmon, spring roll, 4 pieces dynamite roll, 2 spring rolls, and Edamame as the side. My wife said the Salmon was not the most fresh but they do have the freshest salad I ever taste. I got to say the owner and his chef team put a lot of effort and make do with food to make ordinary taste greatest. This is a hard to find especially we need to support small business nowadays. The owner also gave use a side of hot noodles. My wife and I agreed: the hot noodles soup in shiyo tasted the best! ”
“ Amazing experience! Delicious sushi with great customer service ”
“ Had phenomenal sushi. Service was fantastic! Friendly fast and fresh. The aprons are a great touch! Got complimentary noodle soup highly recommend! The sashimi was great as were the rolls. 10 out of 10! ”
“ Felt like being in Japan! They were so sweet, and the food made me smile. The sashimi appetizer was so fun. The vegetable udon was the best vegetable udon I’ve ever had! Such a beautiful assortment of veggie with a rich warm comforting broth. I’m stuffed! I ate everything and more after a good workout at the gym. I’m excited to bring my mom here! ”
“ I had such an intimate, authentic experience. The service here is outstanding, very attentive and always giving complimentary things. They served soup with noodles instead of the usual miso soup you get at most sushi places and it was such a treat. The salmon was so fresh and they nailed the rice to content ratio in the rolls/sashimi. It is a bit of a hole in the wall, unassuming on the outside. It is dark and small inside, but paired with the hospitality and quality sushi, it is definitely a new reliable spot. ”
“ I’ve come to this place since I was 5 years old. Great sushi at a great price and excellent service. There’s a reason they’ve been around this long. ”
